Høyersten Contemporary is a commercial art gallery founded in 2023 by Simone and Erlend Aalbæk Høyersten. They run the gallery on a daily basis as directors and are both art historians and curators.

Høyersten Contemporary aims to present the art of today to a private as well as institutional audience. Our focus is contemporary painting, drawing, and sculpture. While we mainly present mid-career and established artists, we always search for new talents to work with.

We work in close collaboration with each artist we represent, acting as their connection to the international art scene, to museums and to other galleries, helping with production and guidance, presenting their works to the general public. We strive to support our artists in developing and presenting art of high quality, whilst also supporting collectors in developing collections.
